On November 26th, the 19th Annual Kenna’s Kitchen Community Thanksgiving Dinner was a huge success, serving 1610 meals to our community.
Kenna’s Kitchen means so much to our community. Meals are often met with prayers and tears from our elderly and shouts of joy from our very precious youth. It is an act of love that is met with great appreciation.
We sincerely appreciate all who volunteered for this special events. Whether it be food or monetary donations, prepping and cooking food, serving on the line, organizing and providing delivery lists, delivering meals, or cleaning up once the night came to an end, it is a team effort and each person is appreciated and a blessing to our community. MVES staff, especially Mrs. Regina Hull-Brown, really pours their hearts into our community on this night! Kenna’s Kitchen is a great example of Rockcastle County Schools going above and beyond for our community. It certainly was a blessed night.
