BES Students Explore Native Americans

Mr. Devin’s third grade class at Brodhead Elementary recently explored Native Americans. During the study, the class focused on the way the natives used their natural resources to build homes in each particular U.S. region. In the pictures you see the Tepee; which was home to the Plains natives, the Round House; home to the Northeast U.S. natives, the Adobe Home; dwellings for the Southeast U.S. natives, and lastly the Long House; home to the Eastern U.S. natives. The class worked very hard to collect their own natural resources to mimic those of the Native Americans.
