On Monday, December 18th Brodhead Elementary will be having a Winter Carnival for students, staff, and the community from 5:00 – 7:00. One aspect of the carnival will be a silent auction of themed baskets created by each of the classrooms. The themes include snow day, hunting, Rocket spirit, cooking, handcrafted furniture, family movie night, spa treatment, golf packages, and many more. Every basket is filled with all kinds of items that would make excellent Christmas gifts. The value of almost every basket is between $75 and $300, with some being a little more or a little less. The proceeds from the carnival will go toward student activities, classroom supplies, and help offset spring field trips. The e-mail portion of the auction will continue until December 18 at 3:15. Baskets will be on display and bidding will resume from 5:00 to 6:55 on the night of the carnival. Winners will be announced at 6:55pm.
A short description of each basket (and additional information about the carnival) is included on the bid sheet linked below. Baskets may be viewed on the BES PTG Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/bes.ptg). A complete list of items included in each basket will be available on the website as well.
To place a bid, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with the basket number and the amount that you would like to bid. Bids should be in even dollar amounts beginning with the minimum bid as stated on the bid sheet. Mr. Derrick will resend the bid sheet periodically showing the current highest bids.
