Brummett To Be Inducted Into the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Hall of Fame

Mark Brummett of Rockcastle County will be inducted into the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Hall of Fame on January 4, 2014 in Lexington, Kentucky at the 9th Annual Ky-USATF and KTCCCA Hall of Fame and Awards Banquet.  Congratulations on this special honor that is well deserved!

  • Gayle Harris-Watkins, PhD. – Franklin Simpson All State Athlete, Western Kentucky University – NCAA All American and NCAA Academic All-American, USA Elite Athlete, World Ranked in Hurdles and Long Jump, World Class Hurdle Coach

Male Athletes

  • Michael Eaton – Greenwood High School State Champion and All State Runner, University of Louisville – Big East Championships and NCAA Finalist in Both Track and XC and NCAA Academic All American, 2012 US Olympic Trials, Still Running professionally training for marathon running
  • Gavin Gaynor – Hancock County High School State Champion and All State Runner, North Carolina State University – ACC Champion in Steeplechase, Led team to NCAA XC Cross Country Team Title, NCAA Academic All American, USA Elite Athlete – 4 time US Olympic Trials Qualifier, perennial top 10 US ranking in the Steeplechase, Represented the US in numerous International Competitions
