Congratulations to the Academic Team for winning the first overall Regional Championship in school history.     MVES Academic Team Quick Recall Champs

    Mt. Vernon, Roundstone, Brodhead and Crab Orchard elementary school academic teams competed in the last meet of the season on Monday, January 28th.  The MVES B team were quick recall champs and will compete in the district tournament to be held in February.

    RCHS Archery Team Excels at South Laurel Shoot

    Laura Beth Saylor Selected as Children’s Book Illustrator

    RCMS 8th grader Laura Beth Saylor recently became an illustrator for the children’s book “If You’re From the Mountains” by Cassity Riffe McCool-Solis.  Laura Beth submitted an application and her drawing to the author and her drawing was selected for one of the pages in the book.  Way to go Laura Beth!
