Operation UNITE Regional Middle School Poster Contest

Operation UNITE is hosting a regional middle school poster contest to promote being drug free. RCMS winners at the school level were selected last week and awarded cash prizes. Congratulations to 1st place winner Jackson Cromer, 2nd place Dalton Durham, 3rd place Kennedy Carpenter, 4th place Joy Frith, and 5th place J.D. Hamilton.

RCHS Students Place 1st in Small Engine Contest

The Rockcastle County FFA Small Engine team placed 1st overall in the Small Engine contest at the Kentucky State Fair. Each team member received a $10,000 scholarship to Ohio Technical College. Congratulations to the following members: Spencer Childress, Spencer Baldwin, John Dillingham, and Larkan Prewitt.

RCHS JROTC Rifle Team Recieves Grant from National Rifle Association

The Rockcastle County High School JROTC Rifle Team in past years has competed in rifle competitions with 2 teams. We have progressed recently to where we can add a third team. The FFA traveled to the Kentucky State Fair last Thursday and Friday and competed in the following competitions:
