RCMS Student YMCA Attends Kentucky Youth Assembly

Sergeant York Drill Competition

Saturday, December 1st 2012 the JROTC Drill Team traveled to Sergeant York Institute in Jamestown Tennessee for a Drill Competition. 2012 Jim Claypool Conservation Art Contest

Congratulations to Kelsey Carlton, Aliah Bray and Jacob Lopez from Mrs. Breanna Adams’ 4th grade classroom at Brodhead Elementary. Their posters were chosen as the winners of the 2012 Jim Claypool Conservation Art Contest.  They will represent BES at the county level.  Awards will be presented at a banquet next spring.

Central Kentucky Welding Classic

RCHS Guard Wins Best In Class in Chattanooga

JROTC iPad Raffle

RCHS JROTC Participates in Camp Wildcat Activities

Saturday and Sunday, October 20th and 21st  25 cadets camped out at the historic Camp Wildcat Battlefield.  Cadets did multiple work details during the weekend including; parking cars, working concessions, collecting donations, and keeping trash picked up. RCHS Girls’ Cross-Country Team Wins Class 2A Region 5 Championship

Congressman Rogers Recognizes UNITE Clubs

Rockcastle County Schools UNITE Club representatives attended the Chamber of Commerce meeting in Renfro Valley on October 16, 2012. Congressman Hal Rogers addressed the crowd and acknowledged his appreciation for the work of the County UNITE coalition as well as the very active UNITE clubs in our schools.
