Hailey Harper Attends Washington Leadership Training

RCHS Student Attends GEAR UP Explore Program

RCHS Students Attend Space Trek Camp

RCHS students attended Space Trek camp at Morehead State University this summer.  30 students from all over Kentucky were chosen to participate in this camp.  The students stayed on campus for a week.  While on campus the students did the following:

    RCHS Student Andrew Ponder Named 2015 Rogers Scholar

    Rockcastle County student Andrew Ponder has been selected by The Center for Rural Development to attend the 2015 Rogers Scholars program.

    Andrew, a sophomore at Rockcastle County High School, will join 63 high school students from Southern and Eastern Kentucky this summer for the 18th annual Rogers Scholars youth leadership program.

    RCHS Students Visit Aviation Museum

    Students from Rockcastle County Highs School GEAR UP class of 2018 visited the Aviation Museum of Kentucky in Lexington on April 16th.  The students learned about the history of airplanes, careers, and STEM education that goes a long with airplanes and flying. This was great day of learning and career exploration for students.

    RCHS Students Visit University of Kentucky

    Students from Rockcastle County High School visited the University of Kentucky on Wednesday March 29th.  The students toured campus, explored different majors, and learned general information regarding college life.  College and Career readiness is very important to Rockcastle County Schools and the GEAR UP Program!

    RATC Students Excel at 13th Region Leadership Competition

    On Thursday, March 24th, 32 members and 3 advisors from Rockcastle County ATC Skills USA Club attended the 13th Region Leadership Competition in Bell County.
