Class of 2019 Senior Walk

On Friday, May 17th, the Class of 2019 visited the local elementary schools they attended as children. Brodhead, Mt. Vernon and Roundstone Elementary schools were excited to have their former students on campus as they celebrate reaching this milestone!

Local Agencies Provide Kindergarten Readiness Packets

Rockcastle County preschool students received kindergarten readiness packets purchased with funds provided by Rockcastle County Early Childhood Council, Rockcastle County Schools, Community Action Councils South Central Head Start and Kiwanis Club of Rockcastle County. The packets included several instructional materials that students can use in preparation for the upcoming school year.

FRYSC Help Raise Awareness by Wearing Blue

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month.  Rockcastle FRYSC helped raise awareness by wearing blue.  At each school a banner was provided with a child abuse hotline number and the local number.
