RCHS Band Presenting Fall Concert

RCHS Concert Band Presents their Fall Concert, featuring the RCHS Beginning Percussion Ensemble.

Where: RCHS Auditorium

When: October 12th at 6:30 p.m.

Featuring classical works as well as contemporary music and admission is free!

RCMS Cheer Rockin’ Night Out

RCMS Cheeleaders will be hosting a Rockin’ Night Out on Thursday, October 19th from 6:00-7:30 at Rockcastle County Middle School.  A meal will be served at the cost of $5 per person.  There will be a silent auction and live music by Jaclyn Bullock.

Monster Dash 2-Mile Glow Run

Rockcastle County High School Cheerleaders are hosting a 2-mile glow run on Saturday, October 21st at RCHS beginning at 7:30 PM. To register, contact any RCHS Cheerleader/Parent or email joanie.alexander@rockcastle.kyschools.us.  See flyer below for details.

2017 RCMS See You at the Pole

RCMS students gathered around the flag pole to pray and share devotions as part of a nation-wide student initiative to pray. See You at the Pole is an annual event that RCMS and RCHS students participate in the last Wednesday of September.

RCHS Signs Constitution Week Proclamation

Representatives of the Rockcastle County Chapter of the DAR, along with student officers in the RCHS Key Club, Librarian Janet Wells and RCHS Principal and DAR member Jennifer Mattingly, joined together to sign the proclamation for Constitution Week, which occurs next week.

RCMS Leadership Team Participates in Hunger Walk

The Leadership Team was pleased to participate in the 6th annual Hunger Walk through Mt. Vernon to raise awareness of those living in hunger in our community. RCHS Library Hosts 6th Annual Spring into Reading Event

The RCHS Library recently hosted the sixth annual “Spring into Reading” book discussion event on Friday, April 14, 2017.  Students chose one book to read and discuss from the 24 options available.  Janet Wells, Librarian, coordinates this annual event which features refreshments, book discussions, and students and adults finding common interests.

JROTC Flag Raising Ceremony at American SourceCorp

RCHS FCCLA Hero Day

Wear Blue for Child Abuse Prevention
