Kindergartner’s Draw Pictures for Hospital Patients

Part of Mt. Vernon Elementary School Kindergarten’s Read Across America week activities was a Random Act of Kindness Day. For their RAK, Ms. Hannah and Ms. Cloia’s kindergarten classes drew pictures for patients at Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

MVES Kindergarten Celebrates the 100th Day of School

The 100th day of school was January 30th.  Mrs. Kami’s kindergarten class at Mt. Vernon Elementary School celebrated by dressing up like they were 100 years old.

MVES 1st Grade 12 Days of Kindness

12 Days of Kindness

As a part of their 12 Days of Kindness activity, Mrs. Kathy’s and Mrs. Kaci’s first grade classes at Mt. Vernon Elementary School chose to “stock the fridge” of the Rockcastle County Ambulance Service.  The students brought in 345 bottles/cans of soft drinks!

Kindergarten Students Collect Food for Backpack Program

RCHS Student Council 3rd Annual Glove Drive
