Kindergarten Students Collect Food for Backpack Program

Mrs.  Angie Hunt’s kindergarten class at Mt. Vernon Elementary School conducted a community service project and collected over 150 items for the MVES backpack program.

RCHS Student Council 3rd Annual Glove Drive

MVES 2nd Grade Performs “Christmas Is…”

Mrs. Paula and Mrs. Sheila’s 2nd grade classes performed a play called “Christmas Is…” to the patients at  Rockcastle Regional Hospital.  Thank you to all who came out to enjoy.

Kindergartners Pair-up with 5th Graders

Miss Kami and Ms. Lisa’s kindergarten students at Mt. Vernon Elementary sang Christmas Carols to their 5th grade helpers in Mr. Coffey’s class and also worked with them reading stories after.
