Students Fabricate Swing Frame for Elementary School

Rockcastle ATC Welding Technology students recently fabricated a swing frame for Mount Vernon Elementary. The frame will be used with a wheelchair accessible swing. Building the swing frame involved print design, measuring, geometry, and various welding and cutting techniques.

Electricity Students Visit Safety Training Day

FBLA Members Attend State Competition in Louisville

On Monday, April 18th members of Rockcastle Chapter, Future Business Leaders of America traveled to state competition at the Galt House in Louisville for three days. RATC Electricity Student Creates Custom “Rock” Sign

Adam McKinney, senior Electricity student at Rockcastle Area Technology Center, designed and completed an awesome project this year in his Level 3 Electricity class. RATC Students Excel at 2016 KY State SkillsUSA Conference

Twelve Rockcastle ATC SkillsUSA members, along with advisor Sherman Cook attended the Kentucky State SkillsUSA Conference April 13th-16 in Louisville.     Students Create “Kneeling Soldier” Silhouettes

    Rockcastle Area Technology Center senior Welding students recently completed a project for the community. The “kneeling soldier” silhouettes were cut from sheet steel with a plasma torch.
