Hyster-Yale Group Donates $500 to RATC Welding Program

RATC Business Students Collaborate with RCMS 8th Graders

Mrs. Castle and Mrs. Mullins, along with 10 students from the Rockcastle Area Technology Center’s business program collaborated with 8th grade students from Mr. Owens’s encore classes. Students Fabricate Swing Frame for Elementary School

Rockcastle ATC Welding Technology students recently fabricated a swing frame for Mount Vernon Elementary. The frame will be used with a wheelchair accessible swing. Building the swing frame involved print design, measuring, geometry, and various welding and cutting techniques.

RATC Electricity Student Creates Custom “Rock” Sign

    Students Create “Kneeling Soldier” Silhouettes

    Rockcastle Area Technology Center senior Welding students recently completed a project for the community. The “kneeling soldier” silhouettes were cut from sheet steel with a plasma torch.
