RCHS JV Academic Team Competes at JV Challenge; Earns Some of the Highest Scores in the State

The RCHS JV Academic Team participated in the JV Challenge Tournament on Saturday, November 10th held at North Laurel High School in London. The team placed third in Quick Recall and third overall.

    2018 RCHS Rocket Madness

    RCHS Rocket Madness will be Thursday, November 8th.   Admission is free.  Back Porch Barbecue or hot dog with chips, dessert and a drink will be served from 5:00-6:30 for $5.  Program begins at 6:30 in the RCHS gym.  Purchase tickets from any ballplayer or pay at the door.

    Brooke Castle Selected for All Tournament Volleyball Team

    Wildcat Mountain Cadet Assistance

    Twenty-seven Cadets from the Rockcastle County High School JROTC helped assist local reenactors of the Laural Home Guard at the Wildcat Mountain Civil War reenactment from October 19th to 21st.

    Whitley County Raider & Drill Competition

    Thirty-two Cadets from the Rockcastle County Rockets JROTC competed in the Whitley County Raider and Drill competition October 13th, 2018.

    RCHS Art Class Creates Rocket Mural

    Mr. Les Scalf and the Rockcastle County High School art class created a rocket mural to increase school spirit and promote community pride.  The mural is located at the Rockcastle County football field.
