Saturday, December 1st 2012 the JROTC Drill Team traveled to Sergeant York Institute in Jamestown Tennessee for a Drill Competition. Saturday November 17th 2012, the RCHS JROTC Raider team competed at the Raider Rally in the Valley at Cold Lake State Park in Jacksboro, Tennessee. Recently the RCHS Colorguard along with the Marching Rockets competed in the U.S. Bands Southern States Marching Championships held in Chattanooga Tennessee on November 3rd. Saturday November 3rd2012, the RCHS JROTC program took 22 cadets to hike 14 miles at the Shellotowee trail. Cadets began their hike at the mouth of the Laurel River and ended up at Cumberland Falls. Saturday and Sunday, October 20th and 21st 25 cadets camped out at the historic Camp Wildcat Battlefield. Cadets did multiple work details during the weekend including; parking cars, working concessions, collecting donations, and keeping trash picked up.
