2021 RCMS Spring Musical Review

On Saturday, April 3rd, RCMS students Lacie Laws, Levi Lovell, Kylie McPhetridge, Kelsey Moore, Alivia Permenter, Jackson Stallsworth, and Sydney Woods, performed in the 2021 Spring Musical Review. RCMS Student Presents to Board of Education

We would like to send a shoutout to Anna Chaliff, RCMS 8th grader for her inspiring presentation during the March 9th meeting of the Rockcastle County Board of Education. Anna described ways the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the lives of students. From struggles and adaptations to benefits and achievements, Anna’s presentation was truly inspiring!

RCMS Students Study Erosion and Weathering

Mr. Bottoms’ class at Rockcastle County Middle School has been studying the effects of erosion and weathering on rocks.  Last week students got the chance to work though labs to see these effects first hand.

RCMS Students Raise Money for Abby Langford Scholarship

On Wednesday, January 20th and Tuesday January 26th, students at RCMS donated $1 to wear a hat in honor of former RCMS and MVES student, Abby Langford. RCMS raised $116. All proceeds will go toward scholarships to be awarded to four Rockcastle County High School seniors.

RCMS 2021 Spring Musical

Permission forms to participate in the 2021 RCMS Spring Musical are now available from  Ms. Smith or Mrs. Burdette. Forms must be returned by Thursday, January 21st. Auditions will be held Friday, January 22nd.

RCMS 2020-2021 Parent SBDM Election
