The RCMS girls’ indoor track team won the middle school state championship with an awesome performance at Mason County on Saturday by a score of 61 to 53 over Farnsley Middle School. On February 28th, 8th grader Bailey Bullock served as a legislative page for Senator Jared Carpenter. Bailey was the RCMS winner in the FRYSC Coalition Legislative Page for a Day Contest. Rogers Explorers applications are now available to 8th graders. The Rogers Explorers program is an intensive three-day, two-night program focused on cultivating skills in leadership, technology, math, science, and community service. RCMS 8th grader Laura Beth Saylor recently became an illustrator for the children’s book “If You’re From the Mountains” by Cassity Riffe McCool-Solis. Laura Beth submitted an application and her drawing to the author and her drawing was selected for one of the pages in the book. Way to go Laura Beth!
