The RES UNITE Club recently donated books to the RES Media Center. No Thanks, But I’d Love to Dance and Smoking Stinks, both which encourage young readers to find better things to do than smoke. These books talk about the effects of smoking tobacco and how they damage our bodies.

Ella McKinney, from Roundstone, placed 1st in the state in an essay contest for the Daughters of the American Revolution. She wrote about women’s suffrage and won first place, not only in her school, but the entire state.
