Emergency Bus Evacuation Drills

On Thursday, March 12th, 2020 the Rockcastle County Middle School and Rockcastle County High School will dismiss at 2:45 p.m. in order to complete school bus emergency evacuation drills at each of the elementary schools.  You should adjust your schedule to meet this early dismissal.  These drills will require the coordinated effort of everyone involved.  The emergency evacuation procedures have been covered in driver training sessions.  Teachers will be available at each school to assist you in the drills.  Once the drills have been completed, the principal will release the buses.

The following buses: 1801 (Jack Alexander), 0803 (Donovan Howard), 1504 (Vicky Mullins), 1604 (Jason Brown), 1704 (Donna Asher), 1505 (Jason Medley), and 1702 (David Gibbs) will load and then proceed to the Rockcastle County Middle School to conduct the bus drills.  These buses are to park in front of the school.  They will have staff available to assist with the drills.

The remaining MVES buses will load their students and listen for further instructions from the MVES staff so the drills can be conducted in a safe orderly manner.  It is important that the buses coming from the Middle School are in front of the High School buses so we can keep the same line up at MVES.
