Jasper Rogers Graduates from Space Camp

Jasper Rogers, RCMS 6th grade student, recently graduated from The US Space and Rocket Center Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. This week long program promotes science, technology, engineering, and math while training students with hands on activities and missions based on teamwork, leadership, and problem solving. Jasper served as the Pilot (second to the Commander) on The Team Cepheus selected by his Crew leader. Jasper enjoyed everything about Space Camp but he loved the Moonshot ride the most. During Space Camp, Jasper also got to meet a retired Astronaut and learned about the different missions he completed. He also learned about upcoming missions that NASA is working to complete. Jasper is incredibly thankful for this opportunity and to represent Rockcastle County and the state of Kentucky at Space Camp. This program is designed for those with an interest in exploration.
