Marching Rockets Represent Rockcastle County in Inaugural Festivities

Rockcastle County High School Marching Rockets were recently invited to be part of the Inaugural parade held in Frankfort this past Tuesday. Frankfort was full of excitement and celebration as our Commonwealth inaugurated our 61st Governor. Public school educators played a central role during all the activities of the day. More than 200 educators across Kentucky dressed in red an led the inaugural parade down Capital Avenue as Grand Marshals. The Marching Rockets performed their Christmas Parade tune “Good Swing Wenceslas” along with a custom arrangement of the state song “My Old Kentucky Home” arranged by Senior Drum Major Tarrylton Dunn. Pictured with the Marching Rockets Banner are band members Autumn Dixon and Jacob Anglin along with Colorguard Members Emily Alexander, Devona Smith, Kylee Carpenter, and Taylor Long.  Behind them is Drum Major Tarrylton Dunn and the RCHS Marching Rockets horn and drum lines.
