Mt. Vernon Florist and National Heritage Inn are sponsoring a Frozen tea party with Elsa, Anna & Olaf on Thursday, December 3rd from 3:30-6:00 p.m. at Heritage Inn in Renfro Valley.  Entry is $5 at the door or bring a $5 gift for our RCMS Youth Services Center Christmas Program in memory of Abby Langford.  Refreshments are included.

We are very proud of our Kind Kids for the past week: Jeriann Price, Ashley Cameron, Daniel Mason, Patrick Webb, Cierra Stewart, Halek Payne, and Josh Newcomb.

Our 8th graders are selling Krispy Kreme glazed donuts to support an 8th grade trip.  The orders are due to Mrs. Cromer on Thursday and the donuts will arrive here on November 24th.  If you don’t know an 8th grader to purchase from, call our office on Thursday.  KONA Ice will be at RCMS on Monday, Nov. 23rd.  Profits will also go toward the 8th grade trip.

Mid-term reports were sent home on Wednesday.  Yearbook order forms were also sent home.  Yearbooks are now on sale for $30.  The price will go up to $35 after the Christmas break.

Thursday will be Blue Day in support of diabetes awareness month.

Congratulations to the newly elected Y-Club officers:  President Zach Taylor, Vice-President Tristan Winstead, Secretary Autumn Courtney and Treasurer Ashlyn Brock.

Congratulations to Mrs. Bobo and Mrs. Little’s homerooms on winning the attendance battle last week.  We would like to encourage our 7th and 8th graders to step up their attendance effort.  The 6th grade homerooms took 7 spots in the top ten last week.

Veterans Day at RCMS was a joy as usual.  We were so blessed to have so many honored guests and their families and can’t wait to see them back next year.  We thank all of the many people who made that event possible.

There is no school November 25-27 for Thanksgiving break.  Have a wonderful time with your family counting your blessings!
