Archery practice will be every Wednesday from 3:15 until 5:00. Archery dues are $35.00 and need to be sent in as soon as possible.
Archery News: Archery is in full swing. Archery t-shirt order forms have been sent home, please complete information for your archer and return to school. Archery dues will cover the cost of each archer’s team shirt. Parent shirts are available to order but not required. If you would like to order parent shirts the prices are Youth Sizes up to Adult Large 12 dollars each, extra large and up 15 dollars each. If you would like to order a shirt, the money is due the day that you turn your order in.
Our first tournament will be November 15th or 16th at Rockcastle Co. Middle School. No transportation will be provided. The next tournament will be in January. Details on both will follow at a later date.
It is not too late to pay archery dues if your archer owes archery dues please send the dues in.
Academic Team practices each Tuesday from 3:15 until 4:15.
Hooked on Reading for 1st and 2nd grades will meet every Wednesday.
Girl Scouts meet every Thursday.
Spirit Cards are available for individual purchase. We have Mt. Vernon, Somerset, London/Corbin and Berea/Richmond cards available. Please contact Linda Hamm or Cindy McCullough to purchase.
DJ Martin was our top seller of Spirit Cards. DJ sold a total of 41 cards and won a tablet! Congratulations DJ!
For every 5 cards sold, student names were entered into a drawing. Aidann Lear won the light up chair. Congratulations Aidann!
Storybook Character Day is Thursday, October 31. Dress as your favorite storybook character.

Kinsley Smith and Shelby Sandusky launched their marshmallow a total of 7 feet and 9 inches while Landyn Johnson and Ben Chaliff launched their marshmallow a total of 7 feet and 3 inches.
Mrs. Jamie Cornelius’s 1st grade reading group visited the Kindergarten and Mrs. Shannon Sloane’s classes recently. The students had fun reading to each class! We worked hard to project our voices and read fluently. We are proud of these awesome readers!
