It is time to nominate and elect parent members for our MVES 2016-17 Site Based Decision Making Council. Two parents will be elected to serve on MVES SBDM Council for one term from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017.
Nominations are due to Ms. Pat Allen in the school office no later than 3:30 PM on April 14th, 2016. If you know someone who would be a good candidate, please do encourage that person to run. MVES will contact the nominees by phone to gain acceptance of nomination. Please make sure we have a valid phone number on the nomination form.
The election will be held April 15th, 2016, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM in the school lobby. If you will have a child enrolled at MVES this year, you are eligible to vote in this election. (This includes parents, step-parents and foster parents. Legal guardians are also eligible to vote if the child lives in their home.)
Results will be announced on April 15th, 2016, 3:45 PM in the school office.
