RCHS Holds Drug Forum with Community Leaders

Rockcastle County High School Youth Service Center sponsored a drug forum on October 1, 2015.  The panel of people for the forum were made up of important community members.  They warned students about the harmful effects and negative consequences of drugs.  The panel answered a number of questions that were submitted by RCHS students in regards to the drug epidemic in Rockcastle County.  We would like to thank Judge Executive Doug Bishop, Jailer Carlos McClure, Parent Hazel Parker, Assistant Commonwealth Attorney Jeremy Bartley, County Attorney Billy Reynolds, Judge Jeff Burdette, Sheriff Shannon Franklin, State Police Office Ryan Loudermilk, and Doctor Sarah Oliver for taking time out of their busy schedules to help further educate our students about the negative effects of drug.  We would also like to thank Charlie Napier, State Police Office Darrin Allen, and Drug Court representative Kim Gibson.
