RCHS Trombonist Performs at the Kentucky Center for the Arts

Logan Anglin, a senior trombone player with the RCHS Concert Band, recently had the opportunity to perform as first chair bass trombonist for the 2017 KMEA All-State Symphonic Band at the Kentucky Center for the Arts on Saturday February 11th.  Logan, along with the other members of the ensemble from across the state, spent several days in rehearsal with Dr. Paula Cryder of Texas, one of the most celebrated and renown conductors in the United States.  All-State students were also treated as special guests of the KMEA State Convention and were invited to visit special exhibits and were guests of the All-Collegiate Band Concert performance as well.  Logan is pictured with his director, Greg Daugherty, and his parents Rebecca and Tommy Anglin of Brodhead.  Logan plans to study engineering next year and is considering attending either UK, WKU, or the University of Louisville.
