RCMS 2016 Girls 6th Grade Win State Basketball Tournament

The RCMS 6th grade girls basketball team competed at the 2016 Girls 6th Grade State Basketball Tournament, October 28-30, 2016 at the Kentucky Basketball Academy in Lexington, Kentucky. There were nineteen teams across the state to participate in the 2016 State Tournament. RCMS 6th grade girls had an awesome performance this past weekend with a semifinal game against R.W. Combs Middle School from Perry County and the Lady Rockets winning a close game 40-38. The championship game was against Mercer County King Middle School with the Lady Rockets winning with a final score of 46-36. This gave the RCMS 2016 Girls 6th grade an ending season with a 33-0 record! Congratulations to these girls and all of their hard work during the season.
