RCMS Christmas Fun and Festivities

The Drama Club did an excellent job of writing and performing “A Christmas Break Carol,” a parody of Charles Dickens’ original tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, miser turned kinder. These students, under the direction of Ms. Cassandra Smith, created Ms. Scrooge, a school teacher, who spends all her time worrying if her students will learn enough to take the end-of-the-year test instead of enjoying life.  When Ms. Scrooge is visited by 3 spirits, she learns she doesn’t want to become a crazy cat lady, but wants to celebrate life and her students’ strengths all year long. RCMS enjoyed this original Drama Club production and looks forward to many more!

From ugly Christmas sweaters to holiday jingle, RCMS was decked out on the Friday before Christmas break!

What a treat it was to have Mr. Jedidiah Jinglemeyers stop by RCMS on Friday, December 18th, to discuss  with our students different year-end celebrations people observe all over the world, including Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan, and Christmas!

There’s nothing like Christmas dinner at RCMS!  Thanks to the students and staff for providing holiday cheer for students as they ate lunch.
