RCMS Student YMCA Attends KUNA

Fourteen members of the RCMS Student YMCA attended the Kentucky United Nations Assembly in Louisville on March 5-7.  The group represented the country of Spain and included a visual display, a performance on the international stage and a resolution to make bull fighting illegal in the country.  The group did a great job in all areas.  Pictured are:  Justin Mink, Kaden Kidwell, Tim Duncan, Carson King, Chase Gilliam, Kendra Fetters, Kyle Coffey, Bailey Bullock, Camden Mink, Emma Ballinger, Mya Hunt and Jacob Cook.

In preparation for the Kentucky United Nations Assembly (KUNA) taking place Sunday in Louisville, several RCMS Y-Club students presented their International Stage performance for the student body Friday at lunch.

These students have been working with Arts and Humanities instructor Cassandra Smith to learn a traditional Spanish flamenco dance. Accompanying them with Spanish-style guitar music was 8th grader Jacob Cook.
