Dear Rockcastle County Families,
Rockcastle County Schools will be out of session for the holidays from Monday, December 21st through Monday, January 4th. However, we want to ensure Rockcastle County children still have access to food during this time, so we are offering a holiday break meal box for ALL CHILDREN (18 and under) in Rockcastle County. Each box will be shipped directly to your home and will provide 10 shelf-stable breakfasts and 10 shelf-stables lunches including milk for each meal. Boxes will be delivered prior to December 21st (not everyone will receive their box on the same day).
To participate in this program, families MUST REGISTER and give Rockcastle County Schools permission to share their mailing address with the vendor (Optimum Foods) by November 20, 2020.
Your participation in this program is greatly appreciated. Food Services is dependent upon federal funding that is directly linked to the number of meals served. Your participation does not deprive other families in need, but ensures that we can continue to serve all families across the district. Thank you for supporting our program and allowing us to provide for your child(ren).
