Dear Rockcastle County Families,

Rockcastle County Schools is committed to serving your child(ren) as we start the 2020-2021 school year virtually. RCS Food Services and Transportation Departments have partnered to deliver FREE breakfast and lunch each school day to over 40 sites throughout Rockcastle County.

We are excited to announce that the USDA has extended the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) waivers and we are now eligible to serve ALL children ages 18 and under. Each pick up will include a hot lunch and a breakfast grab bag.

These services will begin on the first day of NTI – Wednesday, September 9, 2020 and will continue as long as ALL of our students are learning from home. Once in-person classes resume, meal services will likely change.

Your participation in this program is greatly appreciated. We rely on the participation of all students to allow our program to thrive. Food Services is dependent upon federal funding that is directly linked to the number of meals served. Your participation does not deprive other families in need, but ensures that we can continue to serve all families across the district. This is a new endeavor for our district and we ask for your patience as we figure out the timing and logistics. Thank you for supporting our program and allowing us to provide for your child(ren).

While registration isn’t required, for planning purposes, we are asking families to sign up by completing the form below.
