Students Receive Pins for Completing Business Awards

By: Hannah McClure; FBLA Reporter

The Business Achievement Award is a Leadership Program complementing students academics while accelerating in their leadership skills. Six of the FBLA members achieved the “Future Business Award” this year. The award focuses on business skills, introduction to community service and FBLA involvement at the local level. These students had to complete a series of activities such as completing community service hours, preparing bulletin boards to promote FBLA and inviting nonmembers to join FBLA in order to earn the Future Award. Danielle Abed completed her Future Award last school year, and was able to achieve the 2nd level; which is the “Business Award.”
