Brodhead Elementary School 5th grader Natalee Bailey recently won the “Why My Grandparent Should be the AARP Grandparent of the Year Award” essay contest.
Natalee was presented with the award at the April Retired Teacher Association luncheon and was given the opportunity to read the essay to her grandmother.

Mrs. Clark’s 4th and 5th grade students created “Brodhead School: The Heart of the Community” podcast to compete in the NPR Podcast Challenge.
