BES Accepting SBDM Parent Nominations

Brodhead Elementary School will be accepting SBDM Parent Nominations through June 10, 2020. Nominations can be emailed to angela.king@rockcastle.kyschools.us. Voting will be held at BES, Thursday, June 11th from 9:00-1:00.

2019 BES Winter Carnival

Brodhead Elementary School will host a winter carnival on Monday, December 16th from 5:00-7:00 pm. The theme is “Deck the Halls with Meatballs” and a spaghetti dinner will be served. Adults are $5 and children 12 and under are $3.  This event is open to everyone! See flyer below for more details.

BES Back to School Block Party

Brodhead Elementary School will host a Back to School Block Party on Monday, August 12th from 4:00-7:00 PM.  Students will be able to meet teachers, parents can sign up for PTG and Rockcastle Regional Hospital will be hosting a health fair. Hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn and inflatables will be available as well.

BES 1st Graders Perform Thanksgiving Play

BES Students Use “Ninja Skills”

Mrs. Sierra’s 3rd grade class put their “ninja skills” to the test while practicing the Distributive Property of Multiplication. BES 5th Graders Study Native American Culture

Fifth grade students at BES completed a Unit of Study that focused on Native Americans. During this unit they learned about the Eastern Woodlands, Plains, Southwest, and Northwest Coast.
