On Friday, April 10th, $2,800 was raised to help 6th grader Abby Langford and her family with expenses. The Rockcastle County Middle School Leadership Team worked together to create fleece cut-and-tie blankets, which they delivered to the Rockcastle Regional Hospital Chemotherapy Infusion Unit. RCMS Leadership Team and Unite member Autumn Courtney counted spare change during the Pennies for Patients event at RCMS. During Red Ribbon Week, students showed that Being Drug Free Make Cents by bringing in spare change to donate. $1,000 was raised in only two days and benefits patients with blood cancers.
