Schools Raise Money for Abby!

RCMS Leadership Team Creates Blankets for Chemo Unit

The Rockcastle County Middle School Leadership Team worked together to create fleece cut-and-tie blankets, which they delivered to the Rockcastle Regional Hospital Chemotherapy Infusion Unit. The group is pictured here with Gayle DeBorde and Renee Miller, caring nurses at the Chemo Department, just after the blanket delivery on Friday, February 13th.

RCMS Singing Telegrams

Tessa Pickle, Aden Amburgey, and Tristan Winstead provided Singing Telegrams of Christmas tunes on Friday, December 19th to students and staff at RCMS. The fundraiser benefited 6th grader Abby Langford, who bravely continues her fight with cancer.

RCMS Raises $1,000 for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

RCMS Leadership Team and Unite member Autumn Courtney counted spare change during the Pennies for Patients event at RCMS.  During Red Ribbon Week, students showed that Being Drug Free Make Cents by bringing in spare change to donate.  $1,000 was raised in only two days and benefits patients with blood cancers.
