Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope

2021 Hunger Walk

September is Hunger Awareness Month.  Rockcastle County Schools are collecting canned goods, peanut butter, granola bars, jelly and cereal to help Christian Appalachian Project’s Grateful Bread Food Pantry.

Our Rockcastle Rockets volleyball and football teams are also collecting food items at their September 9th and September 10th games. Details are outlined in the flyer below.

RES Students Collect 1,485 Canned Food Items for CAP

Roundstone Elementary School students donated 1,485 canned food items  for the Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) Hunger Walk.  Ms. Jessica Bullock’s class collected the most items and won a pizza party.
