RCHS Music Department Holiday Concert

The RCHS Music Department will host a Holiday Concert on Thursday December 7th at 6:30 PM in the high school auditorium.  Admission is free and features holiday classics performed by the RCHS Honors Choir, General Chorus, Concert Band, Brass Choir, and Percussion Ensemble.

MVES Kindergarten & 5th Grade Christmas Fun

Miss Kami & Ms. Lisa’s kindergarten students sang Christmas carols to Mr. Thomas Coffey’s 5th grade students. His students also read Christmas stories to Kindergarten and made a craft.

Grandparent Support Group December Meeting

On Thursday, December 17th, Morgan Bray, Wellness Coordinator spoke at our Grandparent Support Group.  She discussed the harmful effects of e-cig electronic cigarettes and smoking cigarettes. She also provided a demonstration of the harmful effects of cigarette smoking.

BES Polar Express Day

Mrs. Starla’s Class enjoyed a fun filled Polar Express Day. Mt. Vernon Elementary News 12/9/2015

Archery practice is each Monday from 3:15 until 4:55.

Brownies (2nd & 3rd Grades) will meet each Wednesday from 3:30 until 4:30.

Tutoring will be each Tuesday from 3:30 until 4:30.  Parents must pick up their children.

RCHS Concert Band presents “Sounds of the Season”

RCHS Concert Band presents “Sounds of the Season” December 3rd at 6:30 p.m. in the RCHS Auditorium.

The concert is free admission and everyone is invited to attend for an evening of traditional carols and holiday favorites performed by the RCHS Brass Choir, RCHS Percussion Ensemble and Concert Band.
