Ms. Cloia Collins’ class at Mt. Vernon Elementary School did a community service project for Christmas. The students brought in food for the snack pack program at MVES. This project taught the concepts of wants vs. needs and promoted the thought that it truly is better to give than to receive.

Chik-Fil-A and RCHS GEAR UP Feed Their Community

RCHS Wyatt’s Warrior Service Project

Kindergarten Students Collect Food for Backpack Program
Mrs. Angie Hunt’s Kindergarten Class conducted a Community Service Project. The project was to collect food for MVES’s Backpack Program. Over 300 items were collected to feed children in need.
