RCHS Students Skype with Author Silas House

Students in Mrs. Markita Proctor’s senior English classes and students in Mrs. Holly Robinson’s Arts and Humanities class are participating in an Appalachian studies unit. They are reading Clay’s Quilt and Parchment of Leaves by Silas House who took a moment out of his busy schedule to Skype with students on Friday, November 15th.

2019 RCHS Veterans Day Ceremony

Rockcastle County High School held a Veterans Day ceremony on Monday, November 11th.  Guest speakers were Captain Jackie Alexander, Mr. Jeff Draper and Army Sgt. B.J. Thomason, Commander of the Rockcastle VFW.  Sgt. Keith Graves received the VFW Teacher of the Year award.

RCHS Parents: Follow the link below and complete the consent form for your child to receive the flu vaccination at Rockcastle County High School. Consent forms must be returned to the school by Friday, November 15, 2019.  Students will receive flu vaccine in early December.

2019 RCHS Rocket Madness & Alumni Game

RCHS Rocket Madness will be Tuesday, November 19th at Rockcastle County High School. This year’s events will also include an alumni co-ed basketball game.
