RCMS Support

Rockcastle County Middle School (7th grade Shooting Stars Team and 8th grade Comets team) students and staff raised $700 for the Snyder family, after the loss of their mother.  RCMS students and staff always provides love & support for one another.

RCMS Unite Club Members Spread Christmas Cheer

The RCMS Blasting Rockets Unite Club wanted to spread some Christmas cheer to those who may especially need some this year.  The group made Christmas cards to send to those who are battling addiction this season and may not get to spend time with their families.  Thanks to the group for thinking about others!

Builders Club Visits Preschool Students

The 8th grade RCMS Builders Club members visited Tic Toc preschool and CAP preschool last Wednesday.  The students shared stories of Mooseltoe, A Porcupine’s Christmas, and Hurry Santa.  They also helped the preschoolers create a Santa with a countdown to Christmas beard.   Both the little kids and the big ones had a great time!

RCMS Art Students Create Patriotic Art for Veterans Day Celebration

The annual Veterans Day Celebration at RCMS takes much preparation.  The RCMS art club and art classes worked together preparing hand painted pieces of patriotic art to be displayed at the annual Veterans Day program.   The school looks great!

RCMS Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week has begun at RCMS.  On Thursday, our students committed to Follow Their Dreams Drug Free and wore pajamas.  On Friday, we had a Red Ribbon Day and wore red to celebrate a drug free life.  Red Ribbon Week will continue next week.
