RCMS Bravo Students Build Rube Goldberg Machines

Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math and Science Bravo designed and built Rube Goldberg machines. The machine requirements were:  must contain at least 3 simple machines and 2 energy transfers, must contain at least 5 separate steps, and must complete an end task.

    2017 RCMS See You at the Pole

    RCMS students gathered around the flag pole to pray and share devotions as part of a nation-wide student initiative to pray. See You at the Pole is an annual event that RCMS and RCHS students participate in the last Wednesday of September.

    RCMS Students Collect Supplies for Texas Schools

    The RCMS students collected school supplies for kids in Texas who were impacted by the recent hurricane and flooding.  They did a great job collecting over 1,600 items.  Thanks to the Y-Club for helping promote the service and to Bible Baptist Church for delivering the items to Texas.     RCMS Gets New Filtered Water Stations

    6th grader Landon Reppert tried out one of the two new filtered water stations at RCMS.  Thanks to the Rockcastle County Cumberland Valley District Health Department approximately 700 students and staff will have access to fill their water bottles each day.

    RCMS Baseball Athletic Conference Champions!

    Congratulations to the RCMS Baseball B Team on their recent Commonwealth Middle School Athletic Conference Championships.  They ended the season as the regular season conference champs and also won the conference tournament by defeating the Farristown Flyers.

    RCMS Students Excel in KET Young Writers Contest

    Congratulations to Hannah Neeley, 1st place winner in the 8th grade division of the 2017 KET Young Writers Contest.
