RCMS Academic Team Claims Region Championship

RCMS Cheerleaders Place 1st in Commonwealth Cheer Competition

The Rockcastle County Middle School Cheerleaders placed first in the large division at the Commonwealth Cheer & Dance Open, held on Saturday, February 4th at Madison Central High School. The girls faced some of their toughest competition of the season and gave a great performance!

Local Bank Donates Banners to RCMS

RCMS would like to thank Citizens Bank for purchasing new banners to recognize their students’ various sports accomplishments.  Assistant Principal Robert Phillips accepted a check from Citizen Bank’s Jeremy Neeley for the cost of the banners which are hanging in the RCMS gym.

RCMS UNITE Club Donates Money to Fight Hunger

RCMS BRAVO Students Fill Shoeboxes for Needy Children

Rockcastle County Middle School students in Mrs. Vanessa Bullock’s 6th, 7th, and 8th grade BRAVO classes filled shoeboxes with school supplies, hygiene items, and novelty items to bring joy to children around the world who are living in poverty.

Winter Coats Donated to RCMS Youth Service Center

Mick and Holly McGuire from Climax Christian Church donated over 80 winter coats to RCMS Youth Service Center.  Adian Thompson and Kaylee Deatherage Youth Service Center Advisory Members accepted the donation along with Ms. Angie Payne and Ms. Kim Hunter.  Thank you Mick and Holly for the thoughtfulness you have shown to our school.
