MVES 87th District Governor’s Cup Results

Mt. Vernon Elementary School students competed in the District 87 Governors Cup Tournament held on Saturday, February 28th at Rockcastle County High School.

MVES Students Perform in “The Aristocats”

Friday, November 21st, Saturday, November 22nd, and Sunday, November 23rd five students from Mt. Vernon Elementary School performed in “The Aristocats” with Spotlight Acting School in Richmond, Kentucky.

Thank You for Kenna’s Kitchen Donations

Mount Vernon Elementary School has completed our food drive for Kenna’s Kitchen Community Thanksgiving Dinner.  We collected a total of 332 cans of corn; 607 cans of green beans; 369 cans of peas; 227 boxes of instant potatoes and 341 boxes of stuffing.
