Mt. Vernon Elementary School 2nd Graders took a field trip last week to Salt Petre Cave. Mrs. Paula Cowan’s class is shown outside the cave entrance. The students had a great time learning about the history of the cave as well as searching for bats. The class would like to thank the guides who provided such an awesome tour!
