RCMS Y-Club Collects Bottle Caps for Service Project

The RCMS Y-Club’s bottle cap collection service project concluded with the delivery of a toddler size picnic table to Tic Toc Pre-School on April 27th. RCMS Pre-Testing Pep Rally

RCMS students and staff enjoyed many relays and games at the pre-testing pep rally. Some of the games included Body Ball, Cooperation Walk, Popcorn Race, Restaurant Relay, Backpack Relay, and wrapped up with Half-Court Shots to benefit the Abby Langford Scholarship Fund. As the teams competed, it was a toss-up who had most fun!

2017 RCMS Girls Basketball Tryouts

7th/8th Grade will be May 16th  from 4:30-6:00 pm and May 17th from 9:00-10:30 am

6th Grade will be May 16th from 6:00-8:30 pm and May 17th 10:30-12:00 am

All girls trying out must have a CURRENT ATHLETIC PHYSICAL.  More information available in the school’s front office.

RCMS Softball Team Wins Johnny Harmon Invitational Tournament

The Rockcastle County Middle School Softball team won the Johnny Harmon Invitational Tournament in Boyle County on Saturday, March 25th.  The team played hard all day and won five games to be undefeated tournament champions.

RCMS “Dollars & Sense Day”

RCMS held their annual “Dollars & Sense Day” on Tuesday.  Through the hands-on learning event, the students role-played with a future career and family, received a paycheck and worked through their monthly financial obligations.
