Roundstone Elementary School students donated 1,485 canned food items for the Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) Hunger Walk. Ms. Jessica Bullock’s class collected the most items and won a pizza party.

RCHS Senior Library Practicum students traveled to Roundstone Elementary School to collaborate with RES library students. The Roundstone Runners’ Club recently received a $250 donation from the Rockcastle Kiwanis Club. The donation will be used to help complete a dense grade gravel track for the students to run on. Rockcastle ASAP recently donated books to the RES Media Center. No Thanks, But I’d Love to Dance and Smoking Stinks, both which encourage young readers to find better things to do than smoke. These books talk about the effects of smoking tobacco and how they damage our bodies.
