Rockcastle County FBLA Wins Big in Louisville

The Rockcastle County FBLA Chapter traveled to the Kentucky State FBLA Conference April 14th-16th. Fourteen members traveled to Louisville, Kentucky to further our chapter. Ten members competed and five of those came home with trophies.

Welding Students Tour Manufacturing Facility

SkillsUSA Students Excel at Southeast Region Competition

On Friday, March 14th, 36 Rockcastle SkillsUSA members traveled to Bell County Area Technology Center to compete in the Southeast Region competitions. Those attending competed in various hard and soft skill competitions. Capital City Welding Classic

On Friday, February 14th, Andrew Burton, Jordan Hemsley, Koty Benge, and  welding instructor Sherman Cook attended the Capital City Welding Classic in Frankfort.  The students performed welds using the SMAW,GMAW, and Oxy-fuel processes.  Jordan Hemsley received 4th place individual, and they received 4th place team.  Congratulations to the Rockcastle ATC Senior Welding Team.

ATC Students Excel at Welding Competition

On Thursday November 7th, Rockcastle ATC senior Welding students Koty Benge, Matt Alexander, and Dustin Turner competed in the 8th Annual Central Kentucky Welding Classic in Harrodsburg.
