On Friday, March 14th, 36 Rockcastle SkillsUSA members traveled to Bell County Area Technology Center to compete in the Southeast Region competitions. Those attending competed in various hard and soft skill competitions. On Friday, February 14th, Andrew Burton, Jordan Hemsley, Koty Benge, and welding instructor Sherman Cook attended the Capital City Welding Classic in Frankfort. The students performed welds using the SMAW,GMAW, and Oxy-fuel processes. Jordan Hemsley received 4th place individual, and they received 4th place team. Congratulations to the Rockcastle ATC Senior Welding Team.
