Henry Clay Comes To Roundstone

2nd Annual “Run Like Eagles 4K”

The 2nd Annual “Run Like Eagles 4K” will be held on October 19, 2014 at 2:00 on the Roundstone Elementary School grounds. All proceeds go to the RES PTG Technology Fund. Pre-registration is $15 and runs until Friday, October the 10th. Race Day registration is $20.

RES Back-to-School Night

Roundstone Elementary School Open House/Back-to-School Night will be August the 11th from 4:30-7:00 PM. Parents and students can meet their teacher, tour the building and get oriented for the new school year.

Historical Figures Visit Local Schools

Napoleon Bonaparte (Jackson Cromer) and Clara Barton (Joy Frith) visited the RCMS 8th grade Challengers Team on April 3rd, where they shared information about these historic figures with their peers. The students then traveled to Roundstone Elementary where they shared their speeches with the 5th graders.

Roundstone Elementary School recently held its 2014 Spelling Bee. RES Veteran’s Day Program

On Monday, November 11th Roundstone Elementary had a spectacular Veteran’s day. Many veterans came to visit that day.  Veterans were greeted with hall displays made by preschool, kindergarten, and first grade showing appreciation for their service.  Second graders wrote a letter to a veteran.  Fifthgraders performed a song named “For the Good of the Many”. …
