ATC Students Tour Toyotetsu America Inc.

On Friday September 29th, senior automotive, welding, and electricity students from Rockcastle ATC participated in an industry tour of Toyotetsu America Inc. Students Fabricate Swing Frame for Elementary School

Rockcastle ATC Welding Technology students recently fabricated a swing frame for Mount Vernon Elementary. The frame will be used with a wheelchair accessible swing. Building the swing frame involved print design, measuring, geometry, and various welding and cutting techniques.

Students Create “Kneeling Soldier” Silhouettes

Rockcastle Area Technology Center senior Welding students recently completed a project for the community. The “kneeling soldier” silhouettes were cut from sheet steel with a plasma torch. They were then attached to mounts and painted. RATC Students Compete in Skills USA Southeast Region Welding Tournament
