Mount Vernon Elementary School has completed our food drive for Kenna’s Kitchen Community Thanksgiving Dinner. We collected a total of 332 cans of corn; 607 cans of green beans; 369 cans of peas; 227 boxes of instant potatoes and 341 boxes of stuffing. We appreciate the continued support students and families in our effort to make the 13th year a great success.
We are continuing to receive donation from the community for Kenna’s Kitchen. The annual community Thanksgiving dinner is made possible by donations and volunteers in Rockcastle County.
